Los Angeles County Department of Public Works Capital Improvement Program

Simpson & Simpson Management Consulting, Inc. provides project management and project controls services supporting more than 60 active capital projects for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. SSMCI assists the County on an integrated staff basis to manage project activities and evaluate project cost/schedule compliance. SSMCI provides project management, scheduling, cost analysis, project control systems development and maintenance and document control to the County’s General Buildings, Healthcare, Justice and Public Safety sections.

Projects managed involve various delivery methods including design-build and job order contracting (JOC) with many of the buildings achieving a LEED-Silver rating or greater. Projects include fire and sheriff stations, libraries, parks and recreational facilities, community centers, hospitals and comprehensive health centers.
