Lawndale Library
Simpson & Simpson Management Consulting, Inc. provided construction management services to the Los Angeles County Department of Public works for the $18 million City of Lawndale Library. Located within the Lawndale Civic Center, the 17,360 square foot library includes separate reading areas for children and adults, career center, community meeting room, technology training room, multi-media viewing stations, restrooms and essential building support areas.
SSMCI provided scheduling, document control, project controls, contract management and assisted LACDPW with project updates to City of Lawndale officials and the local community. SSMCI also prepared budget updates and invoicing for collection of bond funds from the State Office of Library Construction.
