Los Angeles Unified School District

With over 800,000 students in over 900 schools within Los Angeles County, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is the second largest school district in the nation. Simpson & Simpson Management Consulting, Inc. has provided program and construction management services to LAUSD’s $27 billion school construction and modernization program since 2002, helping realize LAUSD’s vision of building and renovating schools that promote the development of children and are environmentally sound, reflecting the efficient use of resources.

SSMCI personnel are integral members of the District’s facilities management team for project planning, procedure development, design and construction management, database development and program controls, contract administration, scheduling, estimating, document control and quality assurance.
