Don Knabe Community Regional Park

With beautiful sculptures, two large fishing lakes, rolling green hills and large trees, many consider this the most beautiful park in Los Angeles County. Located in the city of Cerritos, Simpson & Simpson has managed several general improvement projects at the 84-acre park over the last decade. Projects included 35 acres of turf replacement, installation of a new irrigation and automatic fertilization system, lake improvements, additional lighting and landscaping, restroom building upgrades, and new parking lots. Most recently, the community center and gymnasium building were renovated to address lighting, cooling and restroom accessibility concerns. The community center was also expanded to add 1,300 square feet of multi-purpose space and the gymnasium received new air conditioning.
