Simpson & Simpson provided project/construction management services for the renovation and rededication of Lake Los Angeles Community Park to Stephen Sorensen Park in memory of the LA County Sheriff Deputy who was killed in the line of duty. Funded by the County’s Facility Reinvestment Program, the renovation of the recreation building included replacing existing furnace and wall mounted AC units with a rooftop heat pump, renovation of the restrooms, replacement of existing lighting and windows with energy-efficient LED lighting and dual-pane windows, and interior/exterior painting of the building.
