Southern California Edison Energy Efficiency Program

Simpson & Simpson provided project/construction management and project control services to Southern California Edison’s Direct Install Energy Efficiency Program. Over a ten-year period, Simpson & Simpson completed over 60,000 energy-efficient retrofits for municipal and commercial building owners in the Southern California area. These retrofits included the design and installation of efficient fluorescent and LED lighting, programmable thermostats and occupancy sensors, demand control ventilation, piping insulation, building envelope weatherproofing, solar-reflective window film, and other energy-saving measures. As a result, SCE has conserved over 200 million kilowatt-hours of electricity from these facilities. Retrofit projects also involved energy audits of the facilities and removal and recycling of hazardous materials. With a strong focus on customer service, Simpson & Simpson achieved a 99% customer satisfaction rate.
