The Hall of Justice a historical landmark reopened with a re-dedication ceremony on October 8, 2014, the venerable granite landmark, which is the oldest government building in the Los Angeles Civic Center, was shuttered and vacant for 20 years following severe damage sustained in the 1994 Northridge earthquake. Simpson & Simpson provided project control services for the $232 Million newly renovated structure which will house the District Attorney’s office and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, and is expected to be fully occupied and operating in early 2015.
