To address a lack of public services in the unincorporated area of Lennox, the County of Los Angeles authorized the expansion and renovation of the Lennox Library. A ground-breaking ceremony was held on August 29 for the library, one of the oldest operated by the County (built in 1946). In addition to a full renovation, the library will receive a 6,000 square-foot wing addition and 7,200 square feet of space will be converted to a community center and office space for County public services. Simpson & Simpson is providing project and construction management services to the LA County Department of Public Works on this $8.4 million project.
