SCE Targets Entertainment Centers for Improved Energy Efficiency
Posted August 02, 2013
Southern California Edison (SCE) has selected Simpson & Simpson to implement strategies to improve energy efficiency at entertainment centers within SCE’s service territory. Business establishments such as movie theatres, restaurants, fitness centers and other amusement and recreational centers with variable occupancy will benefit from installed energy efficiency measures resulting in long-term electrical energy savings. In conjunction with our JV partner, Simpson & Simpson will be focusing on economizing air conditioning systems to adjust automatically to occupancy loads. The 2-year program is expected to reduce electrical power demand by as much as 10 megawatts.
